Redux Rules Visual mods only. No unfair advantage.

Play fair. Look insane.

MythicRP lets you customize your visuals, but not your advantages. This page explains exactly what is Forbidden, what is Allowed, and which programs are Safe to use so your game can look beautiful without risking a ban.

GTA V • Mythic Roleplay
Redux / Graphics Mods / Reshade
Last update: 2025
Simple rule: If it gives an advantage, it’s not allowed. Risk: You are responsible for your own mods.

Redux & Skin Rules

Everything below is based on a simple idea: mods must never give you a gameplay advantage.

📘 Read fully before installing any mod.

Forbidden

These changes give you an unfair advantage or break core gameplay. Using these can lead to punishment.

⛔ Strictly Prohibited
  • 💣

Enlarge weapons over standard game size, including magazines and silencers extending too far.

Weapon models must visually match normal game scale.

  • 🎯

Change standard tracers (including their color). Removing tracers is allowed at your own risk (Ghostpeak).

You may not change tracer color or style. Only full removal is allowed, at your own risk.

  • 🔥

Change the rate of fire or any other weapon characteristics like recoil, spread or damage.

Any gameplay change to weapons is considered cheating.

  • 🧍

Cut or remove animations such as fall animations or other movement sequences.

You must experience default animations to keep combat fair.

  • 🚗

Change any characteristics of any transport (cars, helicopters, etc.), including style tweaks or wheel-smoke.

Vehicles must behave exactly like on the original client.

  • 🌿

Remove any objects or textures from the game such as bushes, grass, stones and other cover.

You must see the same map and cover as everyone else.

  • Remove characteristics that are given by the game itself (default visual or gameplay effects).

The base gameplay experience cannot be reduced by client mods.

  • 🍺

Change the alcohol, drug or any other effects given by ingame items.

No disabling or softening item effects to stay more effective.

  • 🌊

Use no-waves or see-through water modifications.

Ocean and water must look natural, not transparent or perfectly flat.

  • 🧟

Extend player models or modify characteristics like hitboxes or make skins luminous/glowing.

No big, glowing or otherwise “easy to track” models for advantage.

  • 💔

Change player hit-effects in a way that marks or highlights a player after getting hit.

No permanent outlines, highlights or hit markers on enemies.

  • ❤️

Display exact numbers for health bar or armor values.

You may use the default bars, but not numeric information.

  • 🌧

Disable weather effects such as rain, wind or waves. ⚠️ NEW ⚠️

Everyone must deal with the same weather conditions.

  • 🛠

Change the LODScale (Settings.xml in documents) under the value 1.0. ⚠️ NEW ⚠️

This setting affects how far objects are rendered and cannot be abused.

Allowed

These are safe visual tweaks. They change how your game looks, not how it plays.

✅ Visual Only
  • 🌌

All-night or all-day redux presets, including black or styled skies.

Time-of-day and sky color modifications are fully allowed.

  • 🎨

Changing color gradients and overall color grading.

Make the game look colder, warmer or more cinematic.

  • 🔤

Changing in-game font as long as it does not expand too much or block the UI.

Clean custom fonts are okay; oversized fonts are not.

  • 🩸

Changing hit-effects such as blood as long as the size of the effect stays similar.

Cosmetic only – no huge splashes or tracking effects.

  • 🗺

Changing map and minimap position or density, as long as you do not gain special advantage. ⚠️ NEW ⚠️

Layout controls are allowed, wallhack-style maps are not.

  • 👕

Changing clothings and skins within normal shape and size.

Cosmetic clothing mods are fully okay.

  • 🔊

Changing sounds such as on-hit, shooting or ambient audio.

Audio can be reworked freely as long as it doesn’t provide info others don’t have.

Allowed Programs

External tools you can safely use with Mythic Roleplay — as long as they follow all rules above.

💾 Always download from trusted sources only.

Overlay & Visual Tools

You may use the following programs. Any extra features that break the rules are still forbidden.

Crosshair X
Network Graphics
Reshade (no forbidden effects)
Important

Reshade is allowed only when it does not use forbidden modifications such as: wallhacks, extreme visibility boosts, hitbox highlights or any rule-breaking tweak listed above.

Recording software is allowed, but you must record video with all overlays enabled when capturing gameplay for reports or proofs.

Admin Notice

The final decision always lies with the administration. When in doubt: ask before you install.

One Golden Rule

If a modification gives you an advantage, directly or indirectly, it is considered forbidden — even if it is not explicitly written on this page.

Some examples:
• Making enemies easier to see than normal.
• Removing visual obstacles that exist for others.
• Revealing information that default players do not have.

Comment by MYTHIC_OWNER & DESTROYER

The administration is not responsible for your personal changes. Redux and other graphic modifications are used at your own risk. Rules may be adjusted at any time, and players are expected to stay updated.

Always ask yourself: “Does this mod give me an advantage over other players?” If the answer is “yes” or even “maybe”, then that mod is not allowed on Mythic Roleplay.
